Hyundai EON, the new trendsetter in budget car exclusively launched for Indian market by Hyundai, the South Korean car major. Economic priced Eon is offering two variants of this model in market i.e. petrol and LPG model. Both the petrol and diesel variant is offering 3 cylinder 816cc engines giving the power of 55.2bhp at 5500rpm with peak torque of 76Nm at 4000rpm. Due to the same specification there is still a minor difference between the fuel efficiency of both the variant; LPG models are giving a bit more mileage than the petrol variant. There are 8 models currently offered in the market, in which 5 models are of petrol and 3 of LPG. The name of the petrol models are Hyundai EON D lite, D lite plus, EON Era plus, Hyundai EON sports and Magna plus. The diesel variants names are Hyundai EON LPG D lite¸ EON LPG D Magna plus and EON LPG Era plus. This car will reach the speed of 100kmph with in 19 seconds. This car delivers the decent fuel efficiency of 17kmpl in city and 21.1kmpl on highways.
