The all new upgraded edition of Mahindra Thar is all set to
debut in the Indian market that was earlier launched in the international auto
markets of South Africa and Europe. Mahindra Thar is being much anticipated in
the Indian market as it serves as an immensely desirable vehicle and also one
of the cars that Mahindra promised to deliver for India
As a matter of fact, Mahindra
Thar is also the first BS IV CRDe diesel powered engine vehicle of India

that ranges from Diamond White, Rocky Beige, Mist Silver, Fiery Black and
Toreador Red. Apart from that, Mahindra Thar is expected to encounter the much
famed off-road vehicle of Gurkha that will be introduced by the Force Motors.
The official name of Gurkha is being boasted as Force Gurkha
EOV 4x4x4 that literally translates into extreme off-road vehicle and the three
4s stand as an abbreviation for a vehicle that has four-wheel drive, a vehicle
that can take on four kinds of terrain in four different seasons.
Mahindra Thar comparatively offers a much better look when
compared to its competitors like that the interiors and exteriors of Force
Gurkha EOV. The old-fashioned yet sturdy looks of the Mahindra Thar is
further enhanced by the traditional grille and the typical circular headlights.
Apart from that, Mahindra Thar also exhibits a bold jaw shaped front and the
overall appearance of the vehicle is enhanced by the edgy rectangular front
glass along with the broad tyres.
Mahindra
Thar does not look impressive on the interiors as much as it looks in
appearance in terms of exteriors. Considered to be more of an adventure
vehicle, the minimal and open interiors might just disappoint the potential
buyers. Offering ample of legroom space and arm room, the seats of Mahindra
Thar reflect a raw style.
Performance-wise, Mahindra Thar will be made available in
three variants of DI 4X2 BS3, DI 4X4 BS3 and CRDe 4X4. The CRDe variant of Thar
will be seen exhibiting a 2.5L engine that will generate a peak power of 105
bhp at the rate of 3800 rpm along with a peak torque of 247 Nm at the rate of 1800
to 2000 rpm. As far as performance is concerned, Mahindra Thar can also be one
of the best fuel
efficient cars in India for the year 2013. Apart from that, Mahindra Thar will
also be made available in both 2WD and 4WD configurations out of which, the 2WD
will be paired to a five-speed manual transmission.
Other than that, the two-tone dashboard of Force
Gurkha EOV appears to be simple and clear-cut that comprises of the dials
including a speedo, temperature and fuel gauge along with a tiny rev-counter installed
under the AC vents.
Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha offer a lot in terms of
drivability and overall performance and are also expected to be well suited to
the Indian standards as well as the taste of the car buyers in the Indian
market.
